Our Mission
Happy Tails Cat Rescue Society is a newly incorporated not for profit animal rescue that operates out of Oliver, BC. Our passion is rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing cats. We are dedicated to helping cats be healthy and find their fur-ever homes.
Rescuing cats and helping them live their best lives is a highly regarded responsibility for us all. Having been involved with other rescues in the past we decided to take a leap and start our own. We met. We chatted. We discussed our vision and then filed papers and incorporated and an official society was born.
So what does our rescue do? We help cats that need love and care. We work to advocate for cats and help them find their forever home. We work to stop unwanted litters of kittens by helping to spay and neuter cats. Our rescue is operated out of a home and all cats and kittens in our care are either housed here or placed with loving foster homes. We believe this will help their personalities show and thrive and better enable us to match a cat with their purr-fect adopter. We ensure all kitties in our care get the vet care they need including shots, microchip, spay or neuter. We are working hard to reduce the feral population in our service area through our Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) program.
Our adoption process aims at matching the right humans with their purr-fect pet.
We believe that every animal is worthy of a stable home environment, consistent food, clean water, love and humane care.
We are always here to help and are always advocating for cats.
