How Can You Help?
Fostering
Cats and kittens thrive in home settings. We are a foster and home based rescue. If you are interested in being a foster for us please click on the button below and let us know more about you. We appreciate our fosters and offer ongoing support and supply food, litter, litterboxes and toys. You supply love and attention.
Transportation
We often need help transporting cats to Kelowna or other area vets for care. If you would be willing to help drop off or pick up vets we would appreciate it. If you work in or travel to Kelowna often and would be willing to volunteer to help drive some of our sweet fur babies to or from their appointments please click “Contact Us” to let know what days might work for you. Donations
We are thankful for businesses and individuals that wish to donate to help support our work. Etransfer donations can be made to info@htcrs.ca. Donations of food and gift cards can be left for the rescue at our rescue headquarters at 7153 Nk’Mip Vineyard Rd or at our drop off location in Okanagan Falls (1045 Duncan Place). At this time there are the only two locations where we are able to accept donations. If a pick up of your donation is needed, please click contact us and we can arrange a mutually convenient time.

Bottle Recycling
Returnable bottles and cans are a major source of funds for our rescue and help to offset food, litter and vet costs. Bottles can be dropped off in Oliver at 7153 Nk’Mip Vineyard Rd (off TEN dr) or in Ok Falls at 1045 Duncan Place. We have an account set up at the Oliver Bottle Depot. If you wish to sort and donate them please let them know you wish the credit to be put on our account prior to them ringing in the return. If dropping off your bottles to us or the depot is not possible please contact us to arrange a pick up.
Volunteer today!
Do you some extra time and want to give back to the kitties? We always are looking for drivers, fosters, bottle sorters, cleaners, cuddlers, fundraisers….. If you are interested in helping (even if it is just once a month) please contact us and let us know what you would be interested in helping with and we will be in contact with you ASAP.
