The following cats and kittens are ready for their furever homes. Choosing the purr-fect pet can be a daunting task. There are so many factors to consider…age, colour, hair type, a single cat or a pair…..but we would recommend you put a huge emphasis on personality type. People often remark that they love their cats personality and how well it fits with them. We also recommend you consider the personality of your other pets (if you have any).
Our adoption prices are as follows:

*** please note that all kittens adopted through HTCRS have been vet checked and have received their first (and often second set of shots), deworming, Revolution or Nexgaard Combo treatment, are microchipped and have been spayed or neutered***

All cats and kittens adopted through Happy Tails Cat Rescue are eligible to receive a coupon book from Pet Smart in Penticton with $300 worth of coupons to help you get your new pet equipped with food, toys, litter and other items.
We are also pleased to offer our SENIORS FOR SENIORS program. In this program, we pair our senior cats with senior humans looking for a companion. We are very excited about this program that will help spread the love and create companionship opportunities for humans and cats alike.
Blossom ~ 6 month old spayed female
Blossom has a curious and adventurous spirit. When she came to us she would flee at the slightest movement but has been increasingly gaining confidence and has a strong desire to explore new things.
She loves pets but doesn’t always realize that she does, so she still requires a calm person to gain her trust by respecting her boundaries. She loves, loves, loves to play and will make good use of any toy you offer!!
She’s been friendly with the adult cat in the house and curious about the dog. If you are prepared to invest the time, Blossom could be a wonderful addition to any home.

Zelly ~ 10 year old spayed female
Meet Zelly! This beautiful lady has come a long way after spending much of her life without much human interaction, and now she’s finally ready to embrace the love and affection she deserves. Zelly may not be a lap cat just yet, but she absolutely loves attention and is always thrilled for a good petting session. Whether she’s soaking up the sun or curling up for a nap, she’s content to hang out with her foster parents, soaking in all the love they have to offer. She enjoys a modest amount of playtime too—just enough to keep things fun in between her petting and napping sessions. She especially loves to play with the laser pointer!
Zelly is a stoic and resilient soul, and she’s adapted beautifully in her short time with Happy Tails. Her brilliant blue eyes are simply impossible to resist, and she’s ready to find a family that will cherish her sweet nature and give her the quiet companionship she craves. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who has plenty of love to give, Zelly just might be the perfect match for you!

Bubbles ~ 6 month old spayed female
Bubbles is a quiet kitten with a loud purr. She is most often seen observing her surroundings and obsessing over the adult cat in the home. She may be slow to warm but once she does, she loves a good cuddle.
She feels the most safe when she has a hiding spot which means the cat tunnel is her favourite toy. The fastest way to her heart is food! Show her a tasty morsel and her cautious nature all but disappears. This is a great opportunity to remind her that she actually does love a good pet.
